Candice has been interested in the nonprofit and mission-aligned sector for many years after earning a M.S. in Social Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California and her Juris Doctor from the University of California, College of the Law San Francisco. During her time in law school, Candice worked in her school’s Social Enterprise and Economic Empowerment Clinic, providing legal counsel to nonprofits and social enterprises in the San Francisco Bay Area. Candice also worked as a Summer Fellow for Yale Law School’s Community and Economic Development Clinic providing legal services to nonprofits and affordable housing developers throughout Connecticut.

 Candice’s legal practice is focused on providing advice to tax-exempt entities on a range of legal issues and making the law more accessible for all. Candice is licensed in California.

 In her free time, Candice enjoys walking, art, fashion, and jazz.
